Those are your words, not what I said at all. Taking energy from Earth is destruction. We never count the Joules it took to create whatever materials or energy fields are destroyed by our effort to extract energy. Even by fission, the useful Joules we get back out are dwarfed by the Joules lost by the original materials destroyed. A large proportion is also lost to heat, which would not have happened if we didn't use the materials in the first place. This is the opposite of what happens when we use any solar energy at all, converting it to anything other than heat, the net result of our use of it has to be to reduce temperature - that is creation.
We can see quickly how this works by mathematically signing the energy in and out of Earth like a battery, positive from source, the sun, negative where we extract it back out of Earth.
Propagate the mathematical sign to everything and we see financial debt equates to an energy deficit to the planet, which it is only possible to pay back by monetising the energy of the sun. I write a lot about this but not surprised if you haven't seen it, the current platform is profit driven, like we've all needed to be before significant solar, it doesn't help any profit driven sales pitch to promote what I write about to anyone except maybe what the algos perceive is my own tiny social bubble.
But I think things like ChatGPT are going to make a huge difference.
