This made sense to me all the way through, and I welcome something that challenges the inward facing emphasis that a lot of Buddhists seem to lean on, to justify what looks to me like selfishness. But I didn't quite get the last part, that looks like it means we need to consciously strive towards removing dependence on all things physical.
Isn't that an impossible goal, or did I misinterpret?
