This isn't theory, it is physics, like I've been applying and building all of the things you mention like your car, your solar panels, your electric meter, and lots of other Engineers like me, who studied the subject for ten or more years before working at it for another thirty odd, doing all of the hard maths, now you employed a few of us and own a few panels and a car or two and that makes you an expert in energy :)
You are the one who needs to do some work, you could start with one or two of the 320+ stories I have in Medium on this subject, and 6000+ replies since beginning voluntary research on it from PhD work, around six years ago.
Energy from materials requires energy per Joule extracted. Therefore it has a mathematically defined return on energy per Joule.
No such input energy is required per Joule of solar.
Further, Joules from off-planet add to Joules on planet, therefore are mathematically positive, contiinuously adding capital to Earth, when converted to things we consider capital, like fuel and food, as mentioned, whereas Jouls already on planet, extracted from things that nature created, from Joules off planet, are negative, because that is subtraction, not addition, therefore destruction, by mathematical definition.
This is inarguable.
If you really want to try to fault what I am saying, you could reply to any of the stories I have written on the subject, and point out exactly what is wrong with the maths and data I quote.
Here is the one I would be most interested to hear genuine, logical criticism of:
If you understand that, then you will understand why capitalism is finished. Now we are moving to energyism, and this is much more than just an ideology, this is a physical event in process. If you can't or won't see it, then it is you who is ignoring reality, and will never understand why inflation will not stop, until we give in to what nature is forcing us to do; honesly issue free money, reflecting the free energy we are being donated.
