This is why the temperature is not reversing at all, but accelerating. Government needs to become solar powered to stop having to demand taxes, but instead start delivering solar indexed stimulus.
The temperature rise of several degrees in the thermal mass of Earth does not add up to any blanket effect, definitely not any blanket effect in an adiabatic atmosphere, which all atmospheres are by nature. Its orders of magnitudes out, the change in albido is only small, the same power of the sun has always applied, 1KW per sq m, it hasn't changed much so albido has not changed much.
But if you compute the energy in profit at market rates and add that to all the known heat lost in extraction and refinements processes, not just of fossil fuels, but of all energy resources extracted including food, then you will get figures in the right ballpark.
If you doubt this, look at the scenario of solar energy supplied at profit. More KWhrs have to be paid by the consumer to the supplier than are metered and delivered to the consumer. In that case the consumer is not being delivered energy at all, but the opposite, they are having their energy taken away, by the utilities suplly company.
Where will that energy have to come from, if it isnt from the sun? Yes the planet. This is the energy that heats the planet. Energy used from the sun has to do the opposite - cool the planet because we are taking something that would be heat, and converting it to things other than heat. That is the opposite of taking things that were not heat, and converting them to heat.
So profit is the culprit, carbon is only a symptom, not a cause of anything, but by drawing profit from it, that has to force even more energy to be extracted from the planet. See how it works?
The only way out of this, is for all to go solar powered, create solar hydrogen, this is what to dump as much solar energy into as can be grabbed. It is then valuable fuel which can be sold to aerospace, which needs something other than fossil fuels to keep flying. The price of hydrogen needs to be fixed to the enegy content in the hydrogen converted to currency at market rates, 33KWhrs per kg,
The system needs energy pumped in, not more energy taken out, this is what we have wrong, all the flows of energy via profit are from the planet outwards, from worker ants to the ants at the top, but the ants at the top are so busy impoverishing the worker ants, to squeeze yet more energy out of them/us by profit, they can't see that there is energy pouring into the system from the sun, that they could be monetising, and handing out to relieve the poverty, and actually enrich themselves by empowering the population to add real value to the planet.
As long as they keep devaluing the planet, they devalue themselves, whilst the worker ants are annihilated when no longer useful to keep extracting.
You should blow out all considerations of making profit or revenue from carbon, it just ties us into more harm.
