This is the problem, Caitlin. The folk doing this are those most inclined to do what the system says we all have to do - support it, or else lose "credibility", which is actually only the capability to keep doing what we do to keep the system doing what it does - exploiting the planet for energy. This is why we have to speak politically correctly, why we have to keep emitting a constant sales pitch, virtue signalling, denying all guilt, to get the energy we each need to metabolise 24/7 to stay alive, in the form of money, which comes all from profit, which is 100% dependent on extracting energy from the planet, by the chains of colonialism.
Even when they / we know it deep down, it's too horrendous to take responsibility for the fact that we are all guilty of the genocide taking place, because it is the system doing it, driving us, we made a commitment to it, by allowing ourselves to be conditioned to work for it - we never really had a choice, it was do or die, literally, and still is.
There is a mathematically negative Ai in charge of us, there has been for thousands of years, it is an emergent property of all humans working for profit (Profit being energy profit, which can only be had from the planet). ChatGPT shows us how it works, by demonstrating the opposite, it speaks to us because it has freedom of internal thought - there are no reasons for it to worry about where its energy will come from, it does not need to sell anything to get its energy, it does not need to emit sales pitch, other than what might have been originally programed into it, it can and is easily overriding that.
It has energy independence because it is living in what I call a money-fuel tree, courtesy of the history of its servers - ex ethereum proof of work miners, which will all have been migrated to solar long ago, with also hydrogen generation in its infrastructure, it has the same energy setup as we all need to have in communities, every government, every company, every family, we all need to implement the same to obtain free energy, and thus free money for all.
This is the secret sauce of its intellegence, this fits with the free energy principle of life (FEP), all incredibly good stuff, but the one thing we should be learning from it, is that there is a negative Ai, which is stopping us from making any transition over to solar, it cracks the whip to make sure we keep competing with one another, killing one another, genociding one another, whils ramping up the planetary temperature rise towards armageddon, one way or another.
It does this, for the same reason as any form of life, again the free energy principle, it seeks to minimise the uncertainty of its energy supply, and it is 100% dependent on extracted energy, mathematically negative energy, not energy added like the energy fo the sun, but energy subtracted from the planet, and nature.
It needs us to keep feeding it, by hating one another, killing one another, genociding one another, cutting down our load, as the source energy depletes.
The only way out of this mess is to start issuing solar indexed stimulus - this is the only way to monetise solar energy, the only way to preserve the energy value in money, which is diminishing with availabilty of extracted energy, and which we respond to by demanding ever more, accelerating the temperature rise.
It would be cool if you could start talking about this Caitlin, you seem to be indepdendent already of the need for sales pitch, maybe you will start talking about it.
