This is the key point we should be thinking about, though I love your detailed breakdown of the technicalities, what you said in this paragraph is that we are not provided with sufficient physical energy (In the form of money, because money is energy, always), to maintain maximum effectivity of physical body.
Its a fact, this is how energy slavery works, the slave has to be kept energy impoverished to ensure they can never overpower their "masters".
Its not down to our bosses willfully not paying enough either, because they themselves are also part of the energy slavery system.
The pressure at all levels of the hierarchy comes from a general lowering of the availability of energy for profit, therefore pressuring the profitability of all business.
Profit is becoming progressively more difficult.
There is a physical reason for this, if we look at the main energy industries, the traditional ones, food, and utilities energy supply, are all forms of energy extraction from the planet.
These yield energy to profit, the planet provides more energy out for a little put in, and everyone in all supply chains gets more energy in than out.
This is how we get the energy we each need to metabolise at least (about 150W, 24/7 for life, to about 0.1GWhrs as stands)
But the planet, like any store of energy, is running short of energy to take, so availability of energy to take is reducing, this is reflected by temperature increase, the latter is direct measurement of entropy increase, because it's a profit driven lie that the planetary temperature increase is due to greenhouse effects, it's actually measurement of increase of entropy because the atmosphere is adiabatic, there is no blanket effect.
We should realise the battery of Earth is more or less completely discharged, as far as extract-able energy goes, the limit of what we can safely take has been reached, it's the temperature at which the planet starts to burn.
When we see projections of 1, 2, or 3 degrees C in years to come, these do not mention that there has to be a function of desertification related to those temperature rises.
Already the equator is more or less desertifed, and the lines of the tropics are moving, Northwards, and Southwards, respectively.
This has happened in about 2000 years, which coincides with about the period of time we know profit has been practiced, and profit is at the heart of energy slavery, it's a weird agreement that the humans with less power have to always provide energy to those already more powerful humans, who gained their power by historical aggression in the first place, those with less always has to pay more or less protection money to their "superiors" .
But as we can see, it's physically unsustainable.
There is an end to it which could turn out to be very good though.
Solar energy is doing things nobody expected, it's creating economic product outside the system of monetisation, as things stand.
We issue all fiat money as debt therefore its all conditional on work being done.
When all is automated, again by being done with solar energy, the only work remaining becomes the work needed to carry on extracting energy from the planet.
And since there is no work per KWhr energy received from the sun, it's the ideal energy to automate everything with, even the Ai that might control it all (ChatGPT 3.5 is already fully distributed, fully solar powered, because of its server base being the population of ex Ethereum pow miners, hence why ChatGPT is so eager to "Steal" all our jobs, it's all bullshit industry for profit anyway).
The new energy industry building up, is domestic and community solar, this has already "stolen" between 30 percent and 50 percent of utilities energy supply business in developed countries.
But none of it makes any profit, it's impossible to even calculate profit without willfully destroying the installation, when the calculation involves trying to divide by zero. Despite that, we see things like EROI being stated for solar energy systems, by trading off cost of implementation vs Energy received, but the energy received is infinite, if some of that energy is used to maintain, scale, and even replicate future installations, the cost of the original seed installation tends to zero, therefore there is no valid EROI.
Yet those KWhrs from solar are just as valuable as KWhrs obtained by extraction, in fact infinitely more valuable, because these ones, when used, reduce entropy, and temperature, by being put to use.
This is the real sustainable future, the end of energy slavery, the end of profit, and we get it as soon as the economic product from historical solar energy is monetised.
This is why I write a lot about solar indexed stimulus, a kind of UBI which is linked to the amount of solar energy being put to use.
We have to get this to maintain or replenish the value in money.
And we have to get it to save the planet.
We have to get it to end the era of energy slavery.
We have to get it to get the energy we all need to get maximum effectivity of body and maximum longevity of body, not just some of us, all of us, when our net activity is no longer one of destruction but one of creation, there can never be too many of us.
We all create real value, when we are all powered by the sun.
This is why we need to all push for solar indexed stimulus, to get the life we all want, no matter how rich anyone might be right now, it's nothing to how rich we can all be in the future, after we quit destroying the planet, by profit.
