This is probably one thing we can all agree on, thanks for writing it. I don't see it accelerating forever though, it feels more like we are converging on something, imho.
It could be something very good or something very bad. This seems to be a choice we have right now, we could decide to steer things downwards or upwards.
Even though it still looks like we've chosen to steer downwards, towards something very bad, we still have time to change it to upwards.
I have every confidence we will make the change needed to make the final move upwards rather than downwards.
