This is good Enrique, it probably applies to a lot of arguments against carbon capture and plans to extract lithium.
But it doesn't apply to the argument saying carbon capture is a useless waste of extracted energy, unnecessarily adding to the heat impetus on the planet, because carbon is a symptom of the problem of extraction, which is actually destruction, resulting directly in temperature rise, before any considerations of carbon, since profit driven business depends systemically on continued extraction for profit to be even possible.
Concerning batteries, again, if hydrogen is used to backup and store energy wherever possible, and all energy is from solar at source, then hydrogen becomes the replacement for fossil fuels, not only superseding the need for most batteries, but also keeping all airborne vehicles airborne, whilst also providing an alternative supply of food (See "Solein").
With that system view, batteries and continued extraction of any kind with the inevitable associated temperature rise looks completely unnecessary.
