This is fascinating stuff, but underlying it seems an assumption we are entering a pollution age to which there is no alternative.
Whilst there is real alternative.
We actually do have the choice to begin reversing the damage tomorrow, if we wished.
Who funded the research claiming evidence of human lung tolerance to pollutants including smoke?
Probably a company making profit involving explicit generation of smoke.
If they wished to fund it, they could further show there is evidence that all profit driven activity pushes us into burning the planet, since profit is systemically dependent on being able to hold whatever is being sold at profit, to ransom, which I the absence of all else, has to be energy by extraction from Earth, which is the mechanism creating all pollution.
But why would they fund such a study if it could only inhibit their capability to make profit?
We saw how to reverse this instantly, when massive stimulus was issued during covid, we saw miracles like recovery of coral, previously assumed to be irrecoverable.
My own research shows how such unlimited stimulus can be maintained forever by monetising solar energy, which is the only source of energy emitting it for free, nothing asked in return, even adding it to Earth, creating everything we know, which constructively consumes more energy from the sun which would otherwise become heat, just landing on Earth, unused for anything else.
We too can use it like this, converting it to everything except heat, and other pollution, because our use of it destroys nothing, after the infrastructure to create it is created, the same energy then can even be used to grow the installation and mantain it forever, at whatever level of wealth we wish to maintain for ourselves as a collective, producing hydrogen, and further converting this to food (see "Solein"), removing a crucial part of our load from the Earth dependent food chain. Use of hydrogen as the storage Medium instead of batteries removes the need to extract Lithium, keeps all airborne vehicles airborne, and filtrates and circulates both drinking water and clean air, as by-products, rather than any kind of pollution.
These are just some of the automatic benefits of switching from mathematically negative energy (energy extracted from Earth), to mathematically positive energy (Energy added to Earth).
Who wants to pay for this research, or even to promote this research? No-one, in the current system of all things for profit, the latter fully dependent on energy extracted from Earth.
Even the current platform does not promote it.
But I trust it will come out soon now the planet is starting to burn.
