This is fantastic stuff, all very inspiring, thanks for posting.

But throughout, you maintain a framework of "Right and Left", which I think limits a little, as if people really are right or left, when actually we now see the two things being smudged.

Often we will hear folk "On the left" screaming for blood, or hell-bent on shutting down discussion, and folk on the right doing things like issuing massive free money, which was something they always berated the left for wanting to do.

So the source of the problem is deeper, or higher, whowever we want to think about it, it transcends politics, to something maybe closer to religion, or spirituality.

We are starting to see a distinction, between folk who seem to be happy to "Sell their souls", and others who are not, whether we even know it ourselves or not.

To me it all comes down to profit, this thing which historically has been necessary for survival, we've all had to practice it to some extent to survive until now, but the cost in lives, and to the environment is prettly literally unthinkable.

We might think there is no alternative, but there is now, it is provably there, solar energy is making things happen that are impossible to explain by conventional economics.

The deeper we are embedded in this structure of all things for profit, the more difficult it seems to be for us to open our eyes to the fact that it is coming to an end.

We saw the problems of profit driven companies coming to control covid vaccines, it was crazy that the vast majority of folk seem to have not understood from the outset that it could never be successful, if only privileged parts of the world could get access to vaccines, preventing attacking the virus in a single worldwide co-ordinated blow, re-infection had to go round and round in waves, until we either all succumb, or develop immunity. Luckily we seem to have done the latter, but in truth it could have gone either way, I think we had a very lucky escape.

Still, we are faced with a global energy and environment problem, which we could even say covid was only an initial symptom of, the worst by far, including nuclear war, is yet to come, if we can't change direction and unite as a species, to use energy the way nature is screaming at us how to use it.

This is pretty much what I write about in Medium, from the energy point of view, how we are breaking all the rules of nature, as long as we do not use the energy of the sun.

Thanks for the insight into how folks minds are changed, it has to be extremely useful and valuable things to know :)
