This is cool, good to keep abreast of developments, but ask yourself if you really want to have arrays of Geo satellites positioned around Earth, aiming what would be tens of MW or even GW of microwave power at whatever targets on Earth they are supposed to shoot at, without ever making a mistake, which could take out entire cities of life or just nature, if they went wrong or were even controlled by a profit driven Ai to do, it wouldn't be long before the Ai worked out that folk scared out of their wits of the consequences of not paying up, generate much better profits for their energy, and actually, this requirement for folk to pay for the energy they receive from solar would tie us into carrying on extracting from the planet in order to keep paying our bills, this would defeat the purpose of use of solar power completely, we would still be progressively destroying the planet, raising temperature, for profit.
