This is an almost perfect replication of how I see things too, thanks for posting.
The problem is us, not machines. We just use machines to do our bidding.
I do worry a little about most machines being designed for profit, because by that we become secondary to the main incentive, to make profit. The ultimate conclusion of all things for profit is the end of all biological life.
But the achilles heel of profit, is it depends entirely on energy coming solely by extraction.
It can't continue to exist or even be relevant, in a world of free energy, which brings with it also free money, removing the conditional nature of our individual prosperity.
The question is, when will banks, money issuers, and whale capitalists come to accept this? How much more death, destruction, and misery do they need to see, before they give in to this mathematical certainty?
