This is a perfect example of why we are still polluting, it seems to me.

Make an industry of a problem, and we never want to quit the industry, so we never fix the problem.

You said it yourself, “land grab”.

Can you see any difference between that, and colonialism?

If you agree there is no difference, and are maybe proud to be still practicing it, you maybe don’t see any connection between this, and pollution.

But we should.

Every promise to pay is a promise to extract.

VC creates promises to pay, lots of them, big ones.

The only antidote to all of that is free money.

If you had a money tree, would you still feel the need, to do this, to make money?

The money tree exists, and even money-fuel trees. Some folk are writing about it, me included.

It involves crypto. That is the real killer application of crypto, which is how crypto is really killing capitalism, it is delivering to us the means of monetising energy from the only real source of it, the sun, all of which is donated to us for free.

All of the industry that went into your article would have so much a better outcome, if it was focused on how to make that happen quicker, it seems to me.
