This is a cool story, very appropriate to current events, thanks for posting. what it communicated to me, as a long practicing systems Engineer familiar already with the concepts, rather than anything technical I might have learned, is that there is maybe a growing body of folk concerned about the validity of information around us, due to ever worsening propaganda, which we should be worried about.
Cancellation is the wrong response, that seems something driven by the human requirement to profit, as is the motivation to generate propaganda.
So instead of trying to cancel different sources of information, removing even more truth, we should be looking to enhance sources of media, especially non-mainstream media, the media of other countries we might think are "The enemy", we need the whole truth, rather than an even smaller part of the truth.
As I said to another respondee, as well as in a few of my own stories to date Metcalfe's law should be made international statutory law, if we needed a physical law to act as the real reference, there it is right there. It says any and all cancellation of information sources, even partial cancellation, by just removing what is "censored" from all people (not just minors), is bad, with an outcome that negatively affects all humanity.
The answer is not to cancel any media, but to cancel profit, the underlying driver of all propaganda, which actually is just a kind of weaponised advertisement, a continuous sales narrative to sell us one agenda or another, we get to see the truth by adding them altogether, as is in process by Ai, rather than by cancelling more and more.
The irony is that the more we cancel, the less we can see the truth, yet the more confident we get that what we are seeing is the simple truth.
The truth is never simple! :)
