This good stuff, forcing us to rethink the harm done by our system.
Unfortunately the system probably will have to break, we can see it breaking already, with unstoppable inflation. As a long practicing Systems Engineer, I've chosen to work voluntarily to identify the systemic solution. There is one. It all has to do with energy and the unsustainable thing we do with it, we continuously destroy things of Earth to withdraw energy we think can only come from Earth. We do that by the financial mechanism of profit.
All profit is entirely dependent on that action because the making of profit requires that all things exchanged for profit are from dwindling resources.
It is an insane system because ironically, the scarcer things get, the more difficult and inhuman the effort becomes to sustain it.
But what should give us hope, those of us wishing to see an end to it, is that use of solar energy is ramping up.
It has a cumulative economic effect of causing inflation.
The only way to monetise solar is to give the money representing it for free. And it absolutely has to be monetised, otherwise money has to come to represent nothing whilst the truly sustainable and clean, creative product being put to use in the economy continues to ramp up.
So sooner or later we will have massive UBI for all people.
This is the only sustainable option.
Everyone living from capital hates that idea, doing their best to convince themselves it isn't reality.
But it is reality, actual physical reality, however harsh or benevolent we wish to see it.
I show how this is and will continue to drive us towards a fully sustainable solar hydrogen ecology, where everyone receives substantial UBI, and I mean everyone, because in that new world, physically the activity of every human using that energy does the positive work of creation needed to reverse the damage done over the past few thousand years at profit, the more people, the merrier, none are left out.
The only question remaining is when will the capitalists give in to this new system of energyism nature is forcing on us, and actually will they realise it soon enough to avoid falling below the critical threshold?
I don't know the answer to that last part, it truly is in the lap of the gods, or maybe Ai, it seems to me.
