There is probably some truth in what you have written, but also some things not quite correct.
The subject should not be like this. Everything discussed should be definite, determinate, inarguable.
It should be clear what is really at the root of the problem, and it's about more than just the weather, it's about something we all engage in which is fundamentally dishonest, it's about abuse of energy, which is a kind of crime against nature.
The terminology of "Renewables" contains misinformation, and when folk can see this, they might not wish to engage with other folk who seem so sure they know the full truth, when obviously they don't. Mainstream science claims to know the whole truth, when it obviously doesn't.
Mainstream science appears unwilling to talk about the whole truth, because it will have to admit it got some things wrong.
You didn't mention this, so I guess you don't know, but this might help understand why lots of folk think a lot more about the global warming problem than they care to admit.
