There is no problem, if we start to value solar as it should be valued; by the issue of free money reflecting the product that comes from it, on the condition that we use at least some of that free money to scale up solar, backed up with hydrogen, putting it on every window, every sunshade, every roof, every streetlamp, every vehicle, every road, every railway, everywhere we can possibly think of, using our incredible human ingenuity.

By that we will get more power than we ever could need, and with all industry and human activity doing work with hydrogen instead of fossil fuels, a natural by-process of the consumption of it cleans the air - the opposite of consumption of fossil fuels; all problems of air carbon pollution will be quickly reversed.

The issue of free money could begin tomorrow, and we would have 120% sustainable solar energy within a year.

How long would it take to achieve any of the goals of that "Revolutionary genetic technique" in comparison?

Even better question; would such a technique even still be relevant in a fully solar powered world?

Could folk involved in such a project even be tempted to deliberately try to trash the concept of a fully solar powered world, because in the end it would make their chosen dream redundant?

I know it probably sounds harsh, when seemingly sparkling new scientific ideas are talked about, but it has to be said; "Anything that can't be sustained, or is irrelevant in a solar powered world, is bullshit business", unfortunately.
