The thing is, Musk isn't even all that mucho, it's an act. Trump knows this, if you look for the odd occasion when Trump smacks him on the back, as if to compliment him, Musk has to cover up the shock he felt, he nearly leaps out of his skin, his hat nearly coming off. Imagine if it was Musk that got his ear shot through, he wouldn't be standing up shaking his fists. Trump and Musk are two very different people.
