The technology to create hydrogen from reversible fuel cells is there. Backup batteries and fuel, all clean, all from solar. All it takes to use it, is some money to buy the appropriate equipment, from Alibaba. Though that maybe doesn't fit with the ambitions of the fossil fuels industry and maybe a certain EV manufacturer. I would advise anyone in the West with some money to spend on defence, to get some bulk solar panels and Reversible fuel cell hydrogen generation kit before China is added to the sanctions list.
