The Talons and the Hive

A Poem

Frederick Bott

--

We see them closing, those broad, grimy, long claws, of that black-hearted creature, with its dead abyss, beady eyes.

It has toiled for so long now, the end is surely near, plotting, scheming, the dastardly plan almost complete.

Now its talons are finally closing around the object of its intention, soon to close out all light, and all truth.

Oh the shock it will feel, when the hive within its claws explodes outwards, like a supernova, with a power that inhuman creature can never comprehend.
