The resource is the stored kinetic energy of Earth, they are all related, reduction of one results in reduction of all. Use of any of it results in reduction of movement. The ultimate kinetic energy of Earth is in its rotation relative to sun, and orbit around the sun. The rotation of Earth is slowing down, we know by the need to insert leap seconds in atomic clocks every year because we have to insert leap seconds. Standard science dismisses this as natural phenomena due to friction between moon and Earth. If that was correct, the change we would see would be between moon and earth, not between Earth and sun. So the standard scientific explanation is wrong. Occam's razor is a profit driven scientific instrument. It is more often used to cut out research which could reduce profits by their outcome. If someone suggested to study the mechanisms of friction between Earth and Moon as a research project, the question would be asked where would the funds come from, who would make money, if it was found and accepted that it is harmful to take kinetic energy?
