Interesting article, thanks for posting. It is good folk see the humor in Lego astronauts, it is a little better than sending sportscars donated by billionaire businessmen owner stakeholders, but still laughable, given what we perceive was done previously.

The problem with all of it, nowadays, is that shareholders, everyone who put something into the venture financially, are looking for a financial return for their money, because that is what is needed to pay the ever escalating energy bills on Earth, those escalating because the source materials are becoming ever scarcer, being from finite sources, and causing unsurvivable damage by their use anyways.

The solution, is to solar power humanity on Earth, "As in heaven" in the way needed to remove the need for everyone to have to pay bills for energy extracted from Earth.

Maybe the experiments carried out on the moon, showing how to solar power everything except people will be what is needed to make everyone realise this is how to do things. But I doubt it.

I don't think we will ever see real progress until if / when we ever learn to put solar to proper use, by monetising it per Joule received and put to use, and if we can't do that, we are done, no more humanity, or any kind of life at all on Earth.
