The problem gets really complicated when we add in the value of work nature put into it, I think.
For example, it took millions of years of solar energy to produce a litre of oil, yet we can buy that for a few cents, to burn in an engine to get us down to the shops in a few minutes.
Also, the work that might have been pur into a bitcoin by solar energy, would / should that have value?
I think yes...
