The part I thought was suspect is the instruction to hoard grain for seven years, because it would be followed by seven years of famine. I don't know if it was moses who took that instruction, I thought it was Jakob, or someone near him, I think it was Jakob who had four wives in the end, the second one being who he'd had his eye on for fourteen years, the daughter of a local dignitary or something.
To me the story is more or less saying indirectly he got that wife by enslaving her family by the grain hoarding.
If there had never been slavery before then, I don't believe any human would have been so devious and sophisticated to have thought up such a plan, it had to be something non human, even superhuman to come up with it, I think.
What is apparent to me is the tendency of humans to be carrying out slavery without even realising it, we act as agents, maneuvered into various situations systemically in a way that is above our heads, we are like ants acting in a similar system.
Its really interesting Israel never let Gaza have their own utilities energy stations, insisting on supplying all utilities energy firm Israel, whilst Gaza built up something close to 70 percent coverage of rooftop solar. This would have removed 70 percent of folk crossing the turnstiles into Israel to do the low paid work in Israel to pay their energy bills.
So Israel would have seen a double hit to their business with Gaza, profitable business both inside Israel and in Gaza down by 70 percent.
I don't think the Israelis would have had the systems knowledge focused on the issue to work out what was causing it (solar), I think they would just have seen productivity drop by seventy percent fir some unknown reason, the serfs getting lazy, when actually it was the slaves almost breaking free of the enetgy slavery loop. We can bet the profit monster saw it alright though, and now we see it's answer, just genocide the "load" it thinks is no longer contributing to it, even though there is no load because the load is removed if its solar powered, the profit monster has a very autistic view of what energy is - to it, if it isn't extracted then it isn't energy, you know?
