The mechanism beneath the destruction of historical information in all cases, you should notice is profit.

It costs energy to maintain records or information of any kind, and if there is no business case to put out the energy expense in the form of money, it will be switched off, defunded, discontinued, allowed to decay, deleted by default.

Its obviously much worse when the medium on which the information is captured is rented, as it all is, in the system of all energy from finite, charged-for sources. When a person that might have captured some valuable public research, such as research showing the damage done, and the lies told by profit, dies, then their informatioin on the resources they pay constantly to maintain in the system, is deleted, unless it was something retained elsewhere, it disappears.

Its great you just scratched the surface of what is a very profound observation of entropic lock-in, that we are actually destroying more information than we create, whilst ignoring the overall evidence of it (Temperature rise, and a burning planet, per the lab-tested scientific principle of Landauer), this is evidence that we are not getting cleverer at all, despite us advancing in specialisms, its the ancient wisdom and awareness across all information of how all things inter-connect all things that has been lost, an indigenous mindset might put our mental age at about a five year old, we are peeling it away, layer by layer using commodified education (Energy slave training), to replace it with the modern world of Enshittopia which is and has to be the real matrix, but this one is full of glitches, we need to be almost comatose to not keep seeing them.

I'd keep digging there, and make sure you record everything you find on something more permanent than just Medium (I use a formal system modelling repository backed up to more permanent storage)

...and I make sure its all checked into the unlimited free, (Even profit free!) resources of the solar Ai ;-)
