The line I was most interested to read on the website proclaiming "Earth Overshoot Day" is the one right at the bottom. It reads "© 2023 Earth Overshoot Day. Global Footprint Network. All Rights Reserved."

What does this say to you?

It says to me they are driven by profit.

That means they are dependent on energy extracted from Earth.

The whole mentality of Earth Overshoot Day, is to get you to cut down a little on all that terribly wasteful energy you consume, mostly paying bills for, that they have to sell to you almost at a loss, even though they seem to be making maximum profit, there is a phsyical energy presence now which detracts from their ability to keep making profit, so the only way they can hold onto a little more of their profit, is to get you to use less.

Profit in a way is energy, energy extracted from our planet.

Ask yourself this, could that organisation exist and still make profit if the world was solar powered?

The answer if we are honest is no. Their job would be finished, would it not?

So there you see the real driver of the global energy problem.

I show in the stories I write, why and how we can move completely to solar energy, very suddently, just by issue of the kinds of funds we saw during covid, and carrying on with that issue, forever, in fact scaling it up, whilst it powers yet more development of its own beneficial growth, already backed by historically created economic product from solar.

That would be a fair solar indexed UBI. In UK it stands at 600Bn+ outstanding. Until that is issued, our currency has to devalue, because the truly beneficial energy, solar continues to build up, yet it is never monetised. It can't be monetised by money as debt, physically impossible.

I show also how cruise ships like the ones above can be powered from excess hydrogen generated by every solar community generating and using hydrogen as backup, as well as all aircraft, all internal combusition engine cars, and all EVs that would prefer not to have to have a battery that came extracted from Earth.

I show that this ecology would circulate both clean water, clean air, and would further generate food (See "Solein"), removing a large portion of our load from the conventional food chain.

All of this reverses the root effect of energy extraction, instead of heating the planet, it cools the planet, just by EMC squared, the conversion of energy that would become heat if neither we nor nature put it to use.

So the more of that we could do, the better.

Would we still feel the need to escape from the rat-race periodically on cruise ships, if there was no longer any rat-race? I don't know, but I suspect not so much.

I've writtten about this for six years now, since I saw it coming as a long practicing systems Engineer working on a PhD.

I don't do it for profit. I have started writing books about it, but Amazon reserves the rights, to it, not me, though I do need a little income from it.
