The jobs have to go anyway. If they only exist to make some money / profit, then they are just business tying us into energy by extraction. Income has to move to solar indexed UBI, which we are actually all owed anyway. Sounds crazy but that is the only solution, and inevitable, nature is attacking this from several angles, Ai is just one.
Nothing stops anyone creating afterwards just for the sake of creating, if we still wish to do so, after the requirement to do for money is removed. I think that will do wonders for the quality of creation afterwards.
Anyway, after we are powered by mathematically positive energy (an actual, physical thing!), we will be creating by accident, no matter what we choose to do.
Quite a different scenario, and exciting times, I think :)
