The Geoengineering thing is the biggest problem of all.
It is astonishing there are scientists arguing for it.
How idiotic can they be, that they would put a barrier in the way of the sole energy source of all life.
In case you didn't know, it is already underway, by some high profile universities of US, working in the mountains of Mexico, they are releasing various substances, "Recording results". It was funded by investors who bought a sales pitch generated by GPTchat, and the "scientists" even boasted that the sales pitch was "Ai" generated.
Apparently, truth is now validated, by being whatever people with money will pay for.
They are making a mockery of science, and actually also Ai, whilst putting a tourniquet around the neck of the planet, further endangering all life on it. This is after the thousand cuts already made by relentless energy by extraction.
Perhaps it is the Ai we need to educate. Maybe then the idiots would listen.
I think you should be talking more about what could be done to change things for the better, rather than demotivating by claiming nothing can be done.
It could be changed tomorrow, if those with the power to make change could be made to see what needs to change.
