The energy needed to make biofuels, and everything else we currently do has to come from the reserves of Earth, stored energy put here in the first place by millions of years of sunlight.
Using more of it to create biofuels achieves nothing, just pushes pollution output up even more.
Brazil knows this already from trial and error, they did this for a number of years before giving up and carrying on accelerating decimation of their rainforests.
Nothing so far has halted or paused that decimation.
I’ve explained in many places why the only answer is to use the sun directly, but evidently it is taking a while for anyone to understand or care.
