The Cycle of Energy

Beneath the sun’s eternal glow,
A world of heat, where rivers flow,
We take, we give, in endless chase,
Yet blind to what we’ve lost in space.

The earth beneath us, warm and deep,
Holds secrets that it tries to keep.
With every burn and every drill,
The heat ascends, but time stands still.

The sky, a mirror of our plight,
Reflects the day, absorbs the night.
But in the seams of all we’ve done,
We find the balance nearly gone.

What once was lush, now turns to sand,
A warning carved in shifting land.
The ice retreats, but what remains?
A future shaped by endless pains.

Yet in the dark, a truth does rise,
Not in the past, but in our eyes.
To break the chains, to turn the tide,
Together, we must stand and guide.

For in the shift, we find our role,
To heal the Earth, to make it whole.
A partnership, both old and new,
The sun, the soil, and me and you.

No longer slaves to greed’s design,
But free to build a world divine.
In solar light, our hopes align,
A new dawn breaks — our hands combine.
