The biblical messages about idle hands make much more sense, when we realise a certain practicality is required for thinking effectively, otherwise thoughts, philosophies, and ideologies can diverge from what is physically possible, and truly sustainable as a species, thus existentially jeapordising the entire species, as surely as a bunch of Lemmings leaping off of a cliff.
When sight of this itself has been lost, just because people have lost sight of how the physical world actually works, or think that is no longer important, then over the cliff we go.
