That actually isn't such a crazy idea. Now, who would be doing the extortion? It wouldn't be someone who openly boasted on youtube about suspending Ukraininian aid money until they stopped investigating his son's business in Ukraine, when he had the power to do that, and then boasted later, again on Youtube that the US would destroy Nord stream 2, if it was ever commissioned, when he had the power to do that too, would it? Surely not, how could we even think such a thing...
