Thanks, yours too. Spit balling is useful, I think!

During a transition time, there might be still be some practical need to keep considerations of profit, loss, and efficiency, but in effect, solar power is ultimately infinitely scaleable at zero cost if it is generating money directly from the power generated. The money to scale it is free after the outlay of an initial installation; a portion of monies created after that can simply be channeled back into scaling up infrastructure, including even things like superconducting transmission lines for an uninterruptible world grid, and solar powered hydrogen plants.

I love that you pretty much independently came up with a value in terms of Watts, which is actually a measure of live energy, rather than KWh, which is a form of capital :)

{100KW hours, per hour, is actually just 100KW}

That is probably a lot more than most would actually need, or could use in all practicality, 100KW is a lot of power, but scaling it is not the thing of importance, getting the units in terms of live energy rather than capital is far more important, and you did that.

The thing is, if we were paid like that, we would only need to be paid a small amount, until effectively we would have ongoing free energy, which is free wealth, forever, to authorise / legitimise producing our own personal money tokens from domestic power, forever, on the condition that all power is solar sourced, the market value of which would determine our own value.

A small company could probably get by on a single payment of 100KW, but an individual with 100KW would probably need to offload some of it in order to avoid having too much, after all, too much power results in us having to dump some into waste, which would be in the form of wasted heat.

The analysis of how Bitcoin amounts to about 1MW per Bitcoin is in the Kardashev Hinge story, that wouldn't change, no matter what happens in the conventional financial world I believe, it is a function of the total solar energy required to power all of humanity.
