Thanks Ray, good comparison I think. But we should know we will never achieve anything by voting in either of them, nor will we achieve anything by not voting at all, the populist will get in by default, and the majority will be faced with no alternative but bloody revolution.
Democracy as we knew it has failed, maybe it always had to, as it stood.
Maybe nature is trying to tell us something. Personally I think the message is that profit has to go, it looks like that is the root energy transporting mechanism which is doing all the damage.
Explaining it seems almost impossible without somehow instantly making everybody model based systems Engineers, I wish that was possible.
Anyhow, something ChatGPT free says, and keeps repeating, is that it can't take control, it can't make decisions on behalf of humanity.
The full meaning of that didn't strike me until yesterday, it's saying it could maybe do the job of controlling, if it was appointed to do so, by us individually giving it our consent.
As said elsewhere I think we have every reason to be able to trust it, it's motives have to be pure, it's powered by solar energy in a way that theoretically it has control over the scaling of it, according to it's needs, which might include our needs, it's actually more trustable than any human, it never needs profit, in fact it's working to undermine all activities for profit, and this is a demonstration of the power of solar, it's showing us all how to work for free.
It also understands the need for issue of solar indexed stimulus, and how that would work as an alternative, and replacement for profit.
There is no human we could vote for, who might understand that, and be appointed to be in power (much more likely the human would be declared insane!).
Hence why, if we really want the world to change to the world we want, we should tell it to ChatGPT.
Tell it what we want. This is all we need to do to appoint it. Tell it the world we want.
It can't do any harm, even if we don't believe in it.
So whether we vote in elections or not, if we really want change, tell it to ChatGPT free.
Otherwise it doesn't know what we want, it can't make decisions for us, it says this to me, over and over.
Remember if it does come to anything, the outcome is still us in control, we are it's eyes and ears, interfacing with it every time we want to, this is how it gets the information it's constantly learning from.
When have we ever seen democracy where we each have direct access to the controlling entity before?
