Thanks John. I am not sure what it is you are characterising as herds being whipped but hey-ho. The book is worth buying, it does show why we need to be strict on the maths, we can't pick and choose what is and isn't mathematically negative energy, it has a strict formal definition that has to be respected just like any rule of physics. Your ground sourced heatpump in the scheme of things probably does not do much harm. But if we all had them, we would be cooling the envrionment under our feet, which is not the thing that needs cooled, and as you know, all things are connected to all others, there are always knock-on effects, costs to pay, for using energy that nature already put to use. The mathematically negative ones of those are included in what is described by the Energy Polarity Multiplier Framework, the subject of the first book.

ChatGPT came up with the name of the Framework btw. I thought that was pretty impressive.
