Thanks for your comprehensive reply. I appreciate the time and effort you spent on it.

I will only try and address one of your points, because by that, hoepefully you will see all are addressed.

On nuclear power, we can't get around the fact that converting mateials to energy results in temperature rise.

Unused energy by definition, is entropy, is temperature rise. We take it out of use on Earth, the instant we convert any part of the materials to energy.

This is why we have to include nuclear as a form of extracted energy.

Only the energy of the sun is not extracted.
