Thanks for the detailed account of what the mainstream is churning out. Two things don't stack up for me; firstly the news that gives an impression Ukraine is somehow overrunning Russia, inside Russia, despite what is made to look like significant Russian military opposition, and Google making out that their effort is towards obtaining Ai that truly learns, despite it being obvious to us ChatGPT has already been doing that now for years.
Its interesting the US and all countries has gone some way towards silencing all voices who had anything to say "From the other side", in the war with Russia, it looks like more a war of propaganda now, lots of encouragement towards prepping young / gullible mindsets (characterised typically by "Some guy named Noah" ), towards war with Russia, stuff that's designed to make it look easy, like we / the US are some way towards overrunning and winning a serious war with Russia, it's primarily to give investors in the war machine some satisfaction that their money is actually achieving something, but the danger is we could be getting close to when Russia will really let rip, dispelling any illusions.
It's interesting the US just tried to shut down Scott Ritter, the ex Navy seal reporter and former UN weapons inspector who has always warned against underestimating Russia.
The Russians are becoming known for a "Cauldron" strategy. This is something Scott talked about.
What they do is feign weakness in a particular direction, where there might genuinely have been weakness to start with, luring opposing forces to chase what looks like weak, retreating fronts, into very heavily armed "cauldrons", its a kind of ambush, then the cauldron is lit up and everything / everyone in it, annihilated.
If the Ukrainians really have pushed significantly into Russia, they should turn tail and get back out whilst they still can, I would say, and the US are not saving lives by silencing the likes of Scott Ritter, they are costing lives, because at least Scott knows the enemy - wars can never be won by not knowing enemies, only lost, but if that's all they need to do to make war investors think their money was well spent, then that's all that will ever happen, until they run out of gullible young would-be soldiers, or money, I guess.
Like Google, it's all about keeping investors happy, as long as they can. But it's ultimately unsustainable, physically, the Russians already won the war, the energy war. The Russians hold all the aces.
The US cutting the pipelines didn't help us, because energy impoverishment doesn't empower anyone to win any wars, actually it doomed us to always lose, at least until we start to monetise solar, like I keep banging on has to be done now, to make up for what can no longer be got from oil or other energy extracted from the planet, even nuclear.
