Thanks for stressing the truth about the run-up to the start of the war in Ukraine. As for Trump contributing to that, maybe he did. Personally I think it was also wrong of him to neglect Puerto Rico in its hour of need, and to have inexplicably reinstated sanctions on Cuba.
But everyone makes mistakes, and he's had time to reflect on those. What if he had a new resolve, since being out for a spell? A very public recent near death experience might have had some bearing on that too. There is some evidence he might see it as literally a kind of warning shot from a higher entity. (it could really have been).
Its interesting he repeatedly emphasises the importance of stopping the carnage. This is what seems different now, from his last term.
The loss of life in Puerto Rico that he was responsible for, could have been avoided, as could much of the poverty experienced by Cuba, as could also the carnage in Ukraine given you are correct. But what if he genuinely now feels he has a chance now to do better, and feels like he's been given this chance for a reason? (He might be right about that). What if he really sees the global energy problem, and realises, maybe due to coaching by his uncle John, that there is a real beast behind all of the carnage, one that could never be killed or even talked about, until now? What if he is busy chopping off its energy tendrils right now? (He is!).
