Thanks for saying this truth Enrique, its one I've been saying for a while and have probably alienated a lot of ex colleagues for saying, colleagues who worked in the nuclear power industry, and who can't hear a word against it. The nuclear power lobby also has a very big influence in the professional bodies I was a member of, when still offically Chartered, the IET (Instutute of Engineering Technology), which was orginally the UK IEE when I joined up (Institute of Electrical Engineers). We are not allowed by law to use the title of Chartered any longer after we remove our support from those institutions. But we can still say we were Chartered.
