I kind of knew most of this instinctively since childhood due to an unusual upbringing, but would never be able to explain how it works.

On escaping, your story gives me hope that we will, because some of us understand the physical way out there is no physical reason we won't pull through, it is all down to human nature, and the negatives who actually seem to not want us to pull through, whilst pretending to be positives.

The negatives need to be able to create an impression of hopelessness, in order to cast their spell, if seems to me.
