Stephen Hawking's concerns, when he was alive, cannot be considered as still valid now, since he has not seen how Ai has developed, and might have changed his opinion, per the opinion of many other scientists who are fully in support of Ai, and who even knew and were friendly with Stephen Hawking, and who are now using Ai on their projects as a principle foundation, like Avi Loeb, who also writes in Medium, favourably on Ai.
His current very cool Galileo project, is to send Ai into space, with a view to perhaps discover and contact other intelligences that might be "Out there".
I doubt very much if he would agree with your arguments here.
