Stanley, thanks for posting. Of course your feelings probably represent those of a growing number of people.
I trust we wish similarly for real civilisation, with all united, people of all colours and cultures, we are one species, with some minor complementary variations.
It is much easier to be confident of our wish having a positive outcome, if we can see clearly something broken, the root cause of our difficulties, which we see is inequality.
The idea of wealth has worked in a way that tricks us into thinking we are seeing it, when all we are seeing are some effects of it.
That might sound kind of religious or supernatural, but it is a physical reality very easily identified by noticing that the sun, the single source of all energy, and thus all wealth, is excluded from our economy.
That might be because we only recently got the technology to harvest the sun, but now it is here. We also happen to be increasingly suffering as long as we ignore it, via our planet, and us getting sick. Now we must introduce the sun, the true infinite source of all wealth into our economy.
This is not an option we can choose whether or not to take, it is already happening physically, with the introduction of solar power to our physical electricity grid.
That changes everything in a way that is pretty hard to believe.
It is what makes possible the value of the dollar to elevate in response to being given out in massive stimulus, for example.
It also enables shares in bankrupt companies still offering desirable products or services to go up, despite being unable to generate profit, when everyone is issued free money stimulus.
The law in the states has even been changed to allow that.
Suddenly, we go from an economy of controlled scarcity, to an economy of infinite donation.
The end of scarcity is something worth celebrating, I think, as it applies to all people equally.
The future isn’t going back to normal, and we should be thankful.
I don’t think you’ll feel so bad at other humans, when we are all busy celebrating a victory for a united humanity.
The same thing goes for everyone on each side of every division.
If folk are in a mind to stock up on anything, some nice glasses for those celebratory drinks would maybe be cool.
And if we need to demand anything, it is just more free money, no matter who is still in power.
If we are united in that, everything will be just fine, I think.
