Sorry to report, it doesn't look related, as far as I can tell. GPT actually wasn't much help, it says not related without explaining why.
I can't really follow the full argument of carbon credits, if I am honest, and that rings all the alarm bells, it looks like so much other science hijacked by profit, unfortunately.
