Sorry but that is a direct, very simply provable lie, in the case that the energy input to hydrogen is solely from solar, any energy lost in the conversion of energy to hydrogen, simply returns to heat energy from the sun unused.
What remains is 33KWhrs per kg of hydrogen created, and this is 33KWHrs of heat energy removed from the sun, and the total heat energy applied to the thermal mass of the planet, regardless of efficiency.
This is why you and mainstream science have to drop the renewable energy terminology.
Its way too easy for the profit driven energy-conning mindset, to cast deceptive snake oil, whilst that terminology still exists.
Cut to the chase, solar energy is the only one actually adding value, and when it's converted to hydrogen, this is 100 percent value added, regardless of efficiency.
Efficiency becomes irrelevant when all negative sources of energy are discarded.
The only one that matters is the one that adds value, the only one positive - solar.
The sooner we cut the bullshit of renewables, the better.
Only solar matters.
