Something maybe missing from your analysis which changes everything far more profoundly than anything seen in history is the global energy problem.
I call it this, having seen it coming since 2017 whilst on PhD work.
The intention of my PhD was to bring to market a people focused virtual world / MR product, but included also winding in the techniques of model based formal Systems Engineering ("MBSE") as practiced in industry, to the academic project, in such a way as to bring it to academia as a more efficient, alternative method to the traditionally used document driven process.
In essence it involves using graphical modeling languages to express and analyse complex systemic concepts, by "drawing pictures" with specialised tool sets, which include the ability to virtually test scenarios by executing the systems expressed.
Anyhow it went AWOL, when the work revealed the looming global energy problem, which would stop not only my product but actually everything, being it is exponential, and a hyperobject which is very misunderstood.
My research moved away from the academic project scope, towards addressing this global energy problem.
In essence it recognises that what we are doing, and have been doing for thousands of years, is at its root the systematic extraction of all life on Earth.
We might say this was necessary to get where we are as a species; in possesion of the technology of putting the energy of the sun to our use.
We might notice every plant reaches a similar stage in its development, when it first forms leaves, after an initial brief lifetime of hauling energy up from Earth, thus taking out a kind of energy overdraft from Earth, it forms leaves, those leaves begin to absorb and transmit energy to Earth via the nutrients in the plant, and the plant then goes into a much accelerated growth phase to get to its adult size, all whilst paying back it's energy overdraft to Earth thousands of times over, then living a life of contributing everything it does to Earth.
The nutrients in the giant fledgling plant of humanity, that has spent thousands of years hauling energy out of Earth, to such an extent it now threatens all of life, until it can begin contributing all its product created from sunlight to Earth via its leaves, the many solar farms and installations around the planet, is our economic product.
Currently this binds us to extracting energy from the planet, specifically by money issued as debt.
Debt is effectively a requisition to extract energy.
It's a promise that requires work to be done, which when all other work is done, can only be the work of energy extraction, because what is demanded is energy profit. Money is energy. When money makes money, energy also has to be gained. The only party that can give more energy out than it received, in return for a little energy received is the planet.
That energy it gives out to us is finite, created at a rate much lower, originally from the energy of the sun, than we take and consume it.
A side effect of giving us this energy, is the much greater energy lost to heat which is not useful to us, so we don't include it in our considerations of financial profit. Yet it is directly geared to profit, and adds to planetary temperature.
In a way, we should read the planetary temperature as an indication of the amount of usable fuel we have left in the tank.
It's currently in the red line.
It hits the bottom when the planet burns and becomes inhospitable to us.
All of this is disguised by our fixation with CO2, which is not a cause, but a symptom of the actual energy problem.
The fixation with CO2 is driven by profit-it's a desperate attempt to carry on making profit, keeping everyone in work, because we each perceive we need to do this to carry on getting the energy we each need to metabolise 24/7, to survive.
Obviously this ramp-up of effort is the opposite of what is needed, to use effectively the consumable energy available to us, to ramp up just the solar collection and processing /storage facilities (hydrogen - to functionally replace fossil fuels).
So instead of seeing the temperature rise beginning ease off, as we might think should happen, since we at least started to put some solar energy to use, we see the opposite, the acceleration of temperature rise.
This is because it is directly hard wired to profit.
To stop it, we literally need to stop profit.
We can do that by beginning issue of solar indexed stimulus.
As soon as that starts, the need for each of us to continue making profit stops.
Contrary to what conventional economists believe and claim, this will not devalue money at all, but the opposite, it will strengthen it, because the most important quality of money is the energy it represents.
This is what we perceive as the value in money, how many KWhrs or calories it represents per token. Nothing else matters, because this is what is transmitted with it, energy.
Anyhow long story to get to where Ai fits in; it is an incredibly useful tool to analyse everything described.
It is also an incredibly competent controller, in a similar sense as a washing machine controller, it is self configurable, by its own analysis of the system problem, working with folk like me.
It is perfectly suited to the task of issuing the funds needed as solar indexed permanent stimulus.
It is already solar powered itself by residing more or less entirely on ex-Ethereum proof of work servers.
So it already has the energy independence we need, it can't be skewed by profit driven interests.
It has Worldcoin as an option to distribute as money, but the World bank are getting involved in OpenAi, following the recent publicity around Altman leaving, then immediately returning, this might be good news.
A further detail I didn't mention yet is "The Energy Polarity Multiplier Framework".
This is something that explains the nature of our dependence on energy of one kind or another, characterised as simply positive or negative.
If it is extracted from Earth then it is negative. If it is added to Earth, from the sun then it is positive.
Positive is creation, resulting in cooling - pro life.
Negative is destruction, resulting in heating - anti life.
With these concepts we can model the Earth as a kind of battery, showing graphically the energy flows through humanity, nature, photosynthetic life, between Earth and sun, even putting numbers on them, and simulating the outcomes.
The charge level of this battery is indicated by temperature.
As said its almost empty.
The Energy Polarity Multiplier Framework shows that in each direction of energy flow and dependence, there is a characteristic of cascading, avalanche effects.
In the negative direction, the effort we spend on CO2, and any other work which does not actually stop the flow, only serves to add to it. Our understandable reactions to climate disaster, are negative multipliers, but only if the source of energy is negative. War is another multiplier, war is a negative multiplier. In the positive energy scenario there will be no motivation for war. War is an orgy of negative energy use.
We see this cascading characteristic also in the energy flow of lightning. We characterise this as lightning following the path of least resistance.
Notice how similar the roots of a plant look, to bolts of lightning in slow motion.
So the plant has two modes of energy flow; two paths of energy conduction that happened in its life, the first was upwards, extracting energy from Earth to plant, and the second was downwards, receiving energy from leaves to Earth.
There had to be a time of crisis, and probably internal conflict in the plant, when energy switched from negative path, to positive path.
But somehow the positive path always wins, in the case of the plant.
In our case, we seem to be still a long way from understanding this as a soecies.
But ChatGPT understands it perfectly, even naming the Energy Polarity Framework, from a description of its effects.
Sorry long response but I hope you see it is not simple to describe in a nutshell, the reason why this time, gradual, measured change won't work, we simply don't have the time or energy remaining, to do things gradually.
This time we are going to see the most rapid, biggest change in history, or we will see very sudden massive disaster on many fronts, all closing in at the same time as a hyperobject.
