What I see, is folk still under the influence of Enshittopian doomerism, trying to cover up the real power and value of the sun.

The truth is that profit is the mechanism used by the fatal system to try to keep us in abject energy poverty, perpetuating the system of energy slavery, which we try to keep denying by creating and living in the imaginary world built of lies, sales pitch, and virtue signalling - Enshittopia.

How does it work to enslave us? Just look at the case of utilities energy supply at profit for a simple yet mind numbing example - the consumer supplies more energy to the utilties energy supplier than the utlities energy supplier supplies to the consumer because when the money paid in bills is converted to KWhrs at market rates, the consumer pays more energy to the supplier than the supplier supplies, metered, to the consumer.

This is energy theft from the consumer, because its not made clear that the net transfer of energy thus was from consumer to supplier, and if the consumer cant make up what they lost, by themselves somehow making the energy profit needed to make up the difference from somebody else, the consumer has to die, of energy starvation, with not even food to eat.

Propagate that through all supply chains including food, and link to the observation that difficulty of extraction of energy is increasing, because the source in all places is depleting, as you can see by increasing desertification, and you see why all food chains will collapse, when the system stalls due to food suppliers no longer being able to meet the energy overheads of running their businesses, always for profit, because as difficulty of extraction increases, so must also the pressure on all margins.

This is the system actually heating the planet, the former you are unwittingly trying to preserve, by telling lies trying to discredit the energy of the sun, because that energy that you are trying to demonise, is the energy that we need to swithch to, the only one that can stop the destruction, stop the energy slavery, the only one that can be used to actually create, instead of constantly destroying.

The basic standard of about 1KW per sq metre of sunlight in perfect conditions of solar use on Earth has existed since long before 1980, unchanged. Its still the same now, with all plants living from it as usual, at least the ones we havent torn down yet.
