Some wry observations there Jared, even though I might not agree with all of them, still all valid points of view, thanks for posting.
The statistic that most caught my eye was the imbalance of relative contributions to solar panels. I didn't know that, I would never have guessed it as high.
Anyway, if the States recognised the physical reality that solar powered technology, complete with a new kind of infinitely funded, wholly justified and accounted for creator economy, is bubbling up underneath the conventional fossil fueled money-as-debt economy, and is about to burst forth, you (the US) could steal the lead from China, if the banks in US were to publicly commute all financial debt to an energy deficit owed to the planet, and buy up as much solar panel produce as possible, to begin putting in the solar infrastructure needed to seed your transition to wholly solar powered additive hydrogen and pow money production, you would very quickly overtake China in the race to go wholly solar, and as such would quickly regain your market leading position.
That is my opinion anyhow.
