Much of the time, the best way to understand a problem is to simply test it out. With the aid of computers, we don’t even need to get off the couch — we can simulate it! The process of creating a concrete scenario requires us to define every detail. There’s always a piece of the puzzle that feels obvious but is left vague. Computers don’t do vague, forcing us to be explicit.
