Do the same with all batteries used for all solar farm backups, and you have distributed hydrogen production from net excess of hydrogen generation from the solar farms. Scale up the solar farms with hydrogen backup to include solar collection in and around all residential areas, all communities, all workplaces, and voila you have large scale distributed power and fuel convenient and fit for powering all humanity, including recharging all transportation.
