Shereein you seem to be genuinely interested in seeking a real solution which is great, thanks for posting.

My comment on your article would be that it is written as if there might be some way of putting things back on the rails, that somehow we might get back to the old system of “jobs for all people”.

The problem is manyfold, it was destroying our planet, as well as moving wealth continually away from the majority, it always was unsustainable, though we might argue it had a purpose.

Now, we need to reevaluate how to do things.

It can be argued that all human debt is actually an energy deficit to our planet.

That is because the schema of transferring wealth by the mechanism of profit starts with something scarce extracted from Earth, which is them passed on at profit.

Money-as-debt is entirely dependent on that schema.

Bitcoin is money-as-sunlight.

Now, as it is being exchanged for money-as-debt, there is, for the first time in known history, a source of extraterrestrial wealth being injected into our economy from an extraterrestrial source.

That means it is no longer zero-sum, and can no longer be considered as such.

Each Bitcoin created, effectively punches a new hole in the old zero-sum box, through which further free energy enters into our economy from the extraterrestrial source which is the sun.

In other words, each bitcoin actually represents a change in the rate of wealth flowing into our economy from the sun.

So money is coming to represent a rate of change of wealth, rather than a fixed measure of wealth.

I will let you figure out the rest from there, it takes such a long time for me to spell it out in detail over and over, and I still have requirements on me to earn a crust by the old ways.

Suffice to say it is pretty damn cool.
